Meet the Team

David grew up in Concord, California.  “I didn’t like church as a child.  It was boring and confusing. That changed when our family was invited by a friend to a church where the message was clearly explained. It was not long before I made the decision to become a Christian. By my senior year of high school I knew I should be a pastor. I feel very blessed to have served and helped people for over 30 years.  We are extremely grateful for our three daughters and two granddaughters. We love living and ministering in the Bay Area.”

Cindy (Lockwood) has lived in Walnut Creek, California all her life.  “I didn’t attend church as a child, but did open my home to “Young Life” meetings, but more for the social part than the spiritual. That changed at a high school Young Life camp in Canada where my faith became personal and I made the decision to become a Christian.  From that point, I began studying the Bible, attending church, and seeking God’s direction for my life.  I met David at my grandparents’ church in Martinez where he was an associate pastor.”
